My passion and dedication for horses is rooted in my childhood in Germany. I had the opportunity to ride with great mentors like Roswitha Holzhauer to further advance my dressage and jumping skills.
My life moved to the United States and again I had the privilege to learn from reining horse trainer legend Francois Gauthier in North Carolina and obtained my Bachelor Degree in Therapeutic Horsemanship.
In Texas I furthered my skills in training reining horses, coached Para Reining Riders at the NRHA Futurity and worked for the legendary Manion Ranch under the guidance of Tommy Manion and was introduced to training cutting horses.
I appreciate the different disciplines and gained an overall understanding of training young horses and furthering their skills towards the show pen.
At Paws for Reflection Ranch I specialized in teaching people with and without disabilities to develop their full potential on horseback. I provided therapeutic horsemanship services for Veterans, youth-at-risk, and people with disabilities. I was working closely with counselors to provide equine assisted psychotherapy and furthered my knowledge as an equine program director for a therapeutic boarding school for youth-at- risk in Cameron TX in the art of equine assisted mental health coaching. Currently, I am working on my Masters in Psychology and operate Liana's Therapeutic & Performance Horses as well as Transform Equine as the newest project.
